Ingredients

1 cup quinoa flour
2/3 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
½ stick butter, room temperature
½ fat free Greek yogurt
1 cup coconut sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¾ cup almond or coconut milk
1 cup chopped Guidry’s pecans 

  1. Preheat oven to 350, prepare a round pan
  2. Mix together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a small bowl
  3. In a separate medium sized bowl, beat together butter, yogurt, and sugar then add the eggs, beat until smooth
  4. Add vanilla
  5. Add in flour mixture and stir then milk
  6. Fold in chopped pecans 
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean
